Assigning Key results to a story

This article explains how a user can assign key results to a story.

Overview​

Agility now has the ability to associate stories with specific Key Results, these key results are defined as part of an Objective. Agility allows users to assign a single key result to a story or assign multiple key results to a single story.

Prerequisites​

  • To use the OKR feature in Agility you must have Agility Pro and Premium license.
  • Use feature toggle option to enable OKR in Agility.
  • To use OKR you need Digital ai Identity Service. For more information, see Getting Started.

Procedure to Assigning Key results to a Story​

  1. From the menu, click the hamburger icon Hamburger icon > Product > Backlog.
  2. Click a story to assign a Key Result.
  3. In the Story grid, click the OKRs tab.
  4. In the Associated Key Results page, click +Assign.
  5. Enter the search text, you can search by title or description of the Key Result.
  6. From the listed Key results, select an ID and click Assign.

After associating the key results, the associated key results are displayed with the following attributes in Agility:

  • Key results ID
  • Key results title
  • Objective title
  • Session
  • Owner

Procedure for Removing Key results from a Story​

  1. From the menu, click the hamburger icon Hamburger icon > Product > Backlog.
  2. Click a story.
  3. In the Story grid, click the OKRs tab.
  4. In the Associated Key Results select the OKR.
  5. Click the Remove button next to the selected OKR.
