Export OKRs
Export OKRs to CSV format for offline access, reporting, sharing, or archival purposes. Two export methods are available: individual export for selected OKRs (all users) and bulk export for all OKRs (administrators only).
Who Exports OKRs
Export capabilities support diverse reporting needs:
- Product Owners export product objectives and key results to share progress with stakeholders outside the system or create presentations.
- Portfolio Managers use bulk export to analyze OKR data across the organization, identify trends, and report to executives.
- Administrators export all OKRs for backup, archival, or migration purposes, ensuring data preservation.
- Program Managers export objectives across value streams to analyze alignment, identify gaps, and coordinate delivery planning.
Permission Requirement
To export selected OKRs: All users with Agility Pro or Premium license can export individual OKRs they have permission to view. Only OKRs visible based on your access level can be exported.
To bulk export all OKRs: Administrator privileges are required. Only administrators can export all objectives and key results across the system regardless of ownership or visibility.
To view exported data: CSV files contain only OKRs you have permission to access. Private OKRs owned by others are not included in your exports.
Use Cases
Export OKRs to:
- Share progress with stakeholders outside the system
- Analyze data using external tools like Excel or Google Sheets
- Create comprehensive reports across organizational OKRs
- Archive data for historical records
- Print or present OKRs in review meetings
Export Selected OKRs
All users can export individual OKRs by selecting specific objectives from the current view.
Procedure to Export Selected OKRs
-
Log in to Agility, click the hamburger menu and navigate to OKRs.
-
Select one or more OKRs you want to export.
-
Click the Export OKRs in CSV Format icon.

The selected OKRs are exported as a CSV file and saved to your system's default Downloads folder. When opened, the file displays the Objectives and their associated Key Results together in the same CSV file, typically as separate columns or rows depending on the export format.
Bulk Export All OKRs (Admin Only)
Administrators can export all objectives and key results in a single operation, regardless of current page view or applied filters. This feature enables comprehensive data extraction for reporting, analysis, and backup purposes.
Procedure to Bulk Export All OKRs
- Log in to Agility as an administrator.
- Click the hamburger menu and navigate to OKRs.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the column configuration icon.
- Select one of the following options:
- Export All Objectives - Downloads all objectives across the system
- Export All Key Results - Downloads all key results across the system
The export process begins, and the CSV file downloads to your system's default Downloads folder once complete.
Bulk export retrieves all OKRs in the system, not just those visible on the current page. Use this feature for comprehensive reporting and data analysis.
Bulk export is available exclusively to users with administrator privileges. Non-admin users can export individual OKRs using the standard export method.
Troubleshooting
Why don't I see the bulk export option?
Bulk export (Export All Objectives, Export All Key Results) is available only to administrators. If you are not an administrator, you can only export selected OKRs using the individual export option.
Why are some OKRs missing from my export?
You can only export OKRs you have permission to view. Private objectives owned by others do not appear in your exports. Also verify the OKRs are not filtered out in your current view before exporting.
What format is the exported CSV file?
The CSV file includes columns for Objective ID, Title, Session, Owner, Progress, and associated Key Results. Key results appear as related rows or columns depending on the export format. The file opens in Excel, Google Sheets, or any CSV-compatible tool.
Can I export OKRs from archived sessions?
Yes. Apply the appropriate filters to include archived sessions before exporting. Bulk export includes OKRs from all sessions, both active and archived.
