Add Custom Fields to OKRs
Custom fields allow teams to track organization-specific data and categorize OKRs according to their needs. The default custom field is Category. Administrators can add up to ten custom fields, each with multiple values.
Who Adds Custom Fields to OKRs
Custom field configuration supports organization-specific tracking:
- Administrators create custom fields to capture strategic dimensions like business unit, customer segment, product line, or investment category.
- Portfolio Managers work with administrators to define custom field values that align with portfolio taxonomy and strategic themes.
- OKR Program Leaders design custom field schemas to support organizational reporting, filtering, and analytics requirements.
- Finance or Operations Teams request custom fields to track budget codes, cost centers, or other financial dimensions for resource planning.

Custom fields cannot be deleted, but they can be disabled when no longer needed. Field values can be deleted at any time.
Add Custom Fields

Log in to Agility and click the hamburger menu > OKRs.

Click the System Settings tab.

Under the Customization section, click + Add next to Fields.

Enter the custom field name and click the Check mark.
The custom field is added to OKRs.

Click + Add below the newly added custom field to specify field values.
