Portfolio Item Cycle Time Dashboard Panel

The Analytics Portfolio Item Cycle Time dashboard panel allows you to visualize the amount of time portfolio items spend in a range of status values by Total Estimate.

Where to Find This Panel​

This panel is available on any of the following Analytics dashboards:

  • Portfolio > Dashboard
  • Portfolio > Executive Dashboard
  • Program > Product Owner Dashboard
  • Team > Team Dashboard
  • Team > Quality Dashboard
  • Team > ScrumMaster Dashboard

If the panel is not visible, you can add it following the instructions in Adding a Panel to a Dashboard.

Measures​

This panel is a scatter plot indicating how long tracked portfolio items (those visible on the Portfolio Item grid) spent in a configurable cycle (range of status values). Results are grouped based on Total Estimate for the Portfolio Items considered.

For each Total Estimate grouping, there are three data points:

  • The average time it took portfolio items to flow through the cycle (indicated with a dot).
  • The maximum time it took portfolio items to flow through the cycle (indicated with a triangle).
  • The minimum time it took portfolio items to flow through the cycle (indicated with a square).

Panel Parameters​

To configure the panel, click on the gear icon Analytics Gear Icon at the top-right corner and click Edit.

  • The parameters for this panel are the same for all dashboard where the panel is located.
    • Cycle Start
    • Cycle End
    • State
    • Include Items After

The following table describes each panel parameter.
