Web capabilities [Web Recognition] are available in the Safari browser for iOS devices.
Note: Available only for iOS7 and above.
To enable testing on the safari browser:
Step 1: On your iOS device, go to Settings -> Safari -> Advanced and activate the Web Inspector.
Step 2: Follow steps on Connecting an iOS Device to Enable non-Instrumented Mode and click OK.
Step 3: Use the launch command to open the Safari browser with Web mode.
Step 4: In the Activity/URL parameter, set the value "safari:HTTP://<URL of the website to be displayed>"
For example: http://edition.cnn.com
