Viewing Commit Data in Work Items

This topic explains how to view the commit data in Work items.

Overview​

After CommitStream has is enabled, a new CommitStream icon displays on the asset details pages for the following assets or work items:

  • Stories or Backlog Items
  • Defects
  • Tasks
  • Acceptance Tests
  • Issues

How To​

To view commit data, click the CommitStream icon on the side bar.

Commitstream sidebar

The data included for each commit includes:

  • How long ago the commit took place
  • Author
  • Commit ID with link to the code inside your repository
  • Branch name with hyperlink to itself
  • Repository name with hyperlink to itself
  • Commit comment from author
