Copying an Issue

This article explains how to make a copy of an existing issue.

Overview

Follow these steps to make a copy of an existing issue.

Note that all of the original issue's attributes, notes, and links are copied to the new issue.

Steps

  1. Click the hamburger menu Hamburger icon and choose one of the following:

    • Product > Input > Issues
    • Team > Sprint Planning > Issues
    • Team > Sprint Tracking > Issues
  2. Locate the issue you want to copy and click Copy from the Edit drop-down list. The new issue will display in the grid above the original and a new ID will be assigned.
