Copying a Story, Defect, or Request Template

This article explains how to copy a story, defect, or request template in Agility.

Overview

Follow these steps to learn how to create a duplicate copy of an existing story, defect, or defect template.

When you copy a template, a new unique ID will be assigned, but the new template will inherit all of the template's details, including associated tasks and tests.

Request templates are part of the Digital.ai Agility 21.3 release and are not available in older releases.

Steps

1. Click the hamburger menu > Product > Templates.
2. Select the template you want to copy, then select Copy from the Generate Story drop-down menu. The new template displays in the grid.
3. Edit the template as appropriate.
