Mobile Studio - Using Google Assistant

To use Google Assistant, you need to configure it to use the Bluetooth microphone.

  1. Open the Google application.

  2. Click the User icon.

  3. Click Settings.

  4. Click Voice.

  5. Enable Bluetooth audio recording.

  6. In the Device view, click Audio Streaming.

  7. Click Play → Talk.

  8. Click Record → Listen.

  9. Start the Google Assistant using keyboard shortcut (this shortcut emulates the button on the Bluetooth headset).

  • Mac Keyboard: (Option + Command + V OR Control + Option + V)
  • Windows Keyboard: (Ctrl + Alt + V)

Troubleshooting

Starting Google assistant using microphone button on some devices may not work.

Use another Bluetooth voice recording application from Google Play to check if the problem is with Google Assistant or with audio settings.

On Android devices if the keyboard shortcut isn't opening Google Assistant:

  1. Open the device settings.

  2. Click Apps.

  3. Click Choose default apps.

  4. Click Digital assistant app.

  5. Click Device assistance app.

  6. Click Google.
