Manage Notifications and Subscriptions

Digital.ai Agility notifications are subscription based. This allows you to control the types of notifications you receive based on the event types you subscribe to.

For example, if you want to know when a work item is assigned to you, you can set up a subscription to notify you. You could also set up one to let you know when a backlog item is closed, or even when the status of a defect changes. This way, you can keep track of the things that interest you the most.

Who manages subscriptions: All users create and manage their own notification subscriptions. Your subscriptions are personal and determine which events trigger alerts for you. Administrators configure system-wide notification settings (SMTP, push notification integrations).

You will not receive notifications for changes you make, only for changes made by others.

How Subscriptions Work

From the Subscriptions page, you can subscribe to work item events so you receive notification alerts when changes impact your work items. You can create, edit, and delete subscriptions to control which notifications you receive.

Notification Delivery Options

Depending on how you work, you can choose to receive notifications by:

  • My Inbox page: View all notifications directly in Digital.ai Agility
  • Email: Receive alerts in your email client
  • RSS feeds: View notifications in your RSS reader
  • Push notifications: Send alerts to external applications like Slack
  • Mobile Connect: Receive notifications in the mobile app
