Viewing Project or Release Details
The Project Details page provides a single place to view all information about the project, including all of the project's attributes, relationships to other assets in the system, links, discussions and change history.
Steps
To view project details, click on the project name anywhere in the application. The Project Details page displays in a separate window.
Note that the number after each link indicates the number of related items of that asset type.
View Work Items in Release Details
When you open a release in Agility Core or Rooms 2, the Release Details view displays associated work items organized by type:
- Portfolio Items: View all Epics and other portfolio items associated with the release
- Stories: View all Stories assigned to the release
- Defects: View all Defects assigned to the release
These sections make it easier to understand the scope and contents of each release at a glance.
Access Work Items in Rooms 2
In Rooms 2, access work items through the Child Items tab in the Release Details drawer. This provides a consolidated grid view of all Portfolio Items, Stories, and Defects associated with the release.
To view release child items:
- Click the Hamburger menu > Release Planning.
- Click a release to open the Release Details drawer.
- Select the Child Items tab in the drawer navigation.
The Child Items grid displays work items in sections:
- Portfolio Items with count (e.g., "Portfolio Items (5)")
- Stories with count (e.g., "Stories (80)")
- Defects with count (e.g., "Defects (12)")
Each section shows a table with the following columns:
- Name: The work item title
- Number: The work item ID
- Owners: Assigned team members
- Status: Current workflow status (Done, In Progress, Ready for Dev, etc.)
Filter and navigate work items:
- Use the filter icon to narrow down work items by specific criteria
- Pagination controls appear for releases with many work items (e.g., "1-10 of 80")
- Click any work item name or number to open its details
The Child Items view helps you answer key questions during team reviews and status meetings: "What's included in this release? Who owns it? Is it complete?" Review release health at a glance by checking work item statuses and identifying responsible owners without leaving the release details drawer.
