Using Tags

Tags are a lightweight, flexible way for different groups to organize data according to their needs.

  • Test Sets
  • Regression Tests

Tagging Assets​

Tags can be added to an asset several ways either using the grid, by interacting directly with the inline edit or by using the edit button. As the user types, the matching frequently used tags will be presented. The user can choose an existing tag or create a new tag. Spaces and quotes are supported when creating a tag.

Tags applied to a workitem that is currently in a closed state will remain visible in the application

Filtering By Tag​

As assets are tagged the filter option can be used to narrow down the backlog to the tag in question.

Tagging_Filter

To search for all assets using a tag, simply click on the tag itself and the result will be an advanced search on that particular tag.
