TeamForge—Nexus Integration ​

Support for Nexus 3.70.0—TeamForge 24.1 supports integration with Nexus 3.70.0. Nexus 3.70.0 supports new capabilities, performance improvements, and fixes to some of the existing defects and security vulnerabilities. For more information, see Nexus Repository 3.70.1 Release Notes.

Upgrade TeamForge—Nexus Integration Plugin—TeamForge 24.1 now supports Nexus 3 integration plugin version 3.70.0-plugin-version. For more information, see Install or Upgrade the TeamForge—Nexus Integration Plugin.

The New Trackers UI Plan Board(Beta)​

The TeamForge 24.1 brings you a new Trackers UI to let you work with trackers effortlessly. Simplicity, responsiveness, usability, accessibility, navigation, icons, and user-centric are some of the focus areas with which the new UI has been built.

The new UI brings you the following salient features.

  • A sliding sidebar to select trackers, planning folders and teams
  • A streamlined artifact list view with table header and filters, well suited for mass updates of artifacts
  • A sticky first column (artifact title)
  • Icon-based action buttons to accomplish tasks in-situ
  • Left/right scroll buttons to scroll tables effortlessly
  • Pagination buttons to navigate a large list of artifacts
  • User avatars shown for artifact assignees

Export Artifact Change Log​

You can now export the artifact change log from the artifact CHANGE LOG tab. The exported change log includes the following fields: Action, Field, Old Value, New Value, Date, and Performed by. Supported export formats are CSV, Excel, Tab-delimited, and XML.

Edit Protected Branch Role

Protected Branches UI Enhancement​

Informative tooltips have been added in the Edit protected branch role modal for all the available permissions that you can add to specific roles and users. These tooltips reinforce the required clarity about the Push rights, Force push rights, and Merge via pull request permissions before you add a role or a user to those permissions.

Export Artifact Change Log

Show Repository Name or ID for Commits​

The ASSOCIATION tab on the tracker artifact page now shows the SCM repository name or ID associated with each SCM commit.

Here's a list of all ASSOCIATION tab enhancements:

  • The STATUS TYPE/STATUS column shows the commit status as Ready when changes are merged.
  • The STATUS TYPE/STATUS column indicates the review status as Open when changes are submitted for review.
  • Project names appear as tooltips when hovering over repository names.
  • Distinct icons have been introduced for Git and SVN repositories.
  • When Show Traceability View is enabled, hovering over grouped commits or reviews displays tooltips. These tooltips include SCM Commit as the header for commit ID and Git Review as the header for the review.
  • Additionally, tooltips provide source information for commits from different projects and the commit details are hidden for users without permission.

TeamForge Jira Cloud Support​

TeamForge 24.1 supports TeamForge Jira on Jira Cloud. This update lets you use the benefits of Jira Cloud, such as scalability, accessibility, automatic updates, integration with other Atlassian products, and robust security features. For more information, see TeamForge Jira Cloud Support.

Hide Fields in Tracker Workflow on Artifact Status Change​

Starting with TeamForge 24.1, when workflow statuses are configured to hide certain fields during transitions, the HIDE TRANSITION FIELDS AFTER SAVE check box ensures that those fields remain hidden after saving the artifact and when navigating back to it. By default, this setting is disabled, but a project admin can enable it at the site level if needed.

Persistent Help Text in TeamForge​

TeamForge help text is now enhanced to keep important information visible even when you hover your mouse away from the help icon (?). This update includes the following improvements wherever the (?) help icon appears on TeamForge pages:

  • The tooltip stays open when you click the (?) icon.
  • You can scroll if the text is longer than five lines.
  • Clickable links open in a new tab.
  • You can select and copy text from the tooltip.
  • You can close the tooltip by clicking the close icon or anywhere outside of it.

Renamed the script ctf_git_integration_gerrit_config_tuner.py to gerrit-config-tuner.py in /opt/collabnet/gerrit/scripts. This script analyzes gerrit.config and suggests optimal settings for certain configuration properties.
