Bug Fixes and Improvements

Android Support
- We fixed an issue where devices with PIN code went offline after reboot for Xiaomi, Google Pixel and Huawei devices.

iOS Support
- An issue with executing hybridClearCache command on iOS 18 has been resolved.

Cloud
- We fixed an issue where the welcome emails failed to be sent once new users were created.
- Resolved an issue where assigning iOS applications to different projects was failing.
- Fixed an issue that was causing an indefinite "loading" image when observing test executions in the cloud.

Appium Server
- Appium Server 2.17.1 is now available.
- Appium will now return
digitalai:
prefixes in the returned capabilities.

Reporter
- You can now remove Jira projects configurations in the Reporter.
- Resolved an issue causing an uninformative error after android instrumentation failures.
- In some instances where
testName
capability is empty, the name on the generated report appeared incorrectly, which has now been resolved.

Selenium Agent
- Fixed a bug impacting IE mode tests in Selenium when using the capabilities
ieMode=true
andbrowserName=MicrosoftEdge
.

Continuous Testing CLI
- Resolved a NodeJS issue when executing CLI tests in Cypress and Playwright.

Mobile Studio
- Fixed a timeout issue that occurred when using the object spy to fetching a screen dump from application screens containing WebView context (Appium Grid).
- Fixed a bug that occurred on iOS devices when setting Focus on the Safari app was not working properly (Appium Server).
- Resolved an issue where the Application Manager was filtering out Android Applications with
.test
suffice in the package name.
Notes and Known Issues

Samsung devices with PIN codes are failing to return to available after reboot.

As of 25.4, mobile automation tests will return a
digitalai:
prefix for Continuous Testing capabilities, to maintain W3C compliance. -
Long videos in Automotive Projection may not appear in the video reports.

Starting with version 25.5 (tentatively around June 2025), we will disable a few of our properties, under SetProperty.

os.allow.orientation.correction
used to allow iOS non-instrumented dump orientation to be corrected. Now the correction is made by our cloud natively - please make sure you correct your tests if needed. -
ios.11.use.old.monitoring.service
used only for iOS 11, which is not supported anymore, to choose the service used for monitoring CPU / Memory.

Important Notes and Known Issues
- To improve the stability of mobile devices connectivity, we recommend enabling "PortAlwaysOn" in the USB Hub UI, as described here: System Requirements.
- Starting From 25.1 version, Windows and CentOS are no longer supported for cloud components (learn more here). No builds for these platforms are available. Plan your migration to supported OS platforms.
Latest Browser and OS Version Support
Starting with version 25.4, the following operating systems will be out of digital.ai support:
- Android 5.1, 6
- iOS 12, 13, 14

- Appium Server - Resolved an issue where getNetworkConnection command was not working for Android.
- Browser Studio - Fixed a bug that prevented Safari 18.5 from launching in Manual Sessions.
