Support for Pixel 9 Series​

Digital.ai Continuous Testing supports the latest Pixel 9 series of devices.

Expand your test coverage by adding these latest devices on your cloud and start testing on them.

Advanced Analytics​

We’re excited to introduce new embedded analytic dashboards in the Continuous Testing cloud for Premium customers, providing live data, actionable insights, and advanced tools for custom dashboards to enhance efficiency and demonstrate value. You can create your own insights or use the pre-built dashboards we’ve designed for you:

  • Devices Usage : Proactively manage devices by monitoring projects and tracking license trends.

  • Test Execution: Simplify test execution with intuitive dashboards and make data-driven decisions using correlated test results.

  • Performance Transactions: Gain insights into non-functional performance tests, including CPU, memory, and network usage differences across builds.

Bug Fixes and Improvements​

  • Mobile Studio -

    • If a unique XPath cannot be generated in the Object Spy, an error message will be displayed.
    • We fixed the issue where the reflection of some devices was only visible after removing the frame in Firefox.
    • iOS 18 devices no longer throw 'unsupported Xcode error' while opening the device for automation.

  • Cloud UI

    • New Notification Centre in the cloud, providing real-time updates on cloud service statuses and configurations. This feature allows Cloud Admins to easily identify issues and take proactive actions. Learn More

    • Redesigned 'My Account' Page for a smoother and more intuitive user experience. 

  • Browser Studio

    • [Chrome Extensions](link fr chrome extension) can now be installed for Browser Studio sessions.

  • Quickstart

    • The Python scripts on the Quickstart page have been updated.

Notes and Known Issues​

  • Due to Apple recent changes to their application installations API, some stability issues are expected. If you are experiencing issues with application installation, mainly for iOS 17+, please contact support.

Critical Reporter Database Update

As of 24.4 we have made a structural update to the Reporter database. Please follow the following instructions to begin an automatic one-time migration process. There is no change to the functionality of the Reporter. Starting 24.6 this will be the only supported version.

Important Notes and Known Issues​

  • Starting from 24.7 version, all cloud components are no longer supported on Windows and CentOS (learn more here). This means that new features and fixes specifically related to these platforms are no longer be provided. Builds continue to be provided until the end of 2024 to aid in your transition to supported platforms. Plan your move to a supported OS accordingly.
  • Starting from 24.12, Mac OS Big Sur and MacOS Monterey will no longer be supported.

24.9 Maintenance Update 1​

Released Date: October 10th, 2024

Fixes:

  • iOS Instrumentation using Swift UI - In some instances, Instrumented Applications did not show accessibility identifiers which has now been resolved.

  • Mobile Devices getting Disconnection - Resolved an issue causing mobile devices to disconnect intermittently from the Mobile Studio during use. This has now been resolved.
