Digital.ai Agility

Delivery Insights panel in

Using the new Delivery Insights panel, teams can track the progress of stories through a release without leaving the page:

  • Team members can view the phases of a release and track the progression of stories and defects through the release
  • Team members can view the status of each phase, delivery forecast, and the percentage completion of each phase
  • Team leads or Team admins can configure the package and version to be tracked

Ability to change the scope of milestones displayed in roadmap views

Until now, the roadmap view displayed all milestones in a project hierarchy with no way to filter them by project. With the Show Parent Milestones toggle, you can now view milestones associated with the current project and its children or view milestones associated only with the current project (by selecting Single View).

This toggle is available in the Roadmaps page, and the Roadmap panel in Planning Rooms..

An updated, role-based Overview page

We have updated the Overview page to make information suited to your role, tasks, and area of work, easily accessible .

With the new Overview page, you will be able to access various parts of that are required for your role or area of work through a tailored, guided experience for Team members, Team Leads, Product Owners, and Managers.

Usability improvements

As part of improving the user experience, we have made the following changes:

  • Columns across all boards will now display a count of the cards. (Available as of Version 21.1 Point Release #1 on May 08, 2021)
  • Ability to select or deselect multiple cards in a board and using keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+Left Click in Windows or Cmd+Left Click in ).
  • Ability to move selected cards across lanes.

Performance Updates

There have been several performance updates recently. These changes were made available in point releases as they were completed. Below is a recap of those changes.

  • Improved performance when using Portfolio at higher levels in a Planning Level hierarchy.
  • Optimized the consolidation of change records when a user makes multiple changes to an asset's Description field within a short time.
  • Reduced the amount of duplicate data stored for rich-text fields in instances running on SQL Server 2016 and later.
  • Reports utilizing historical data will now be able to process faster.

Here is a list of items included in this release which were completed since the Version 21.0 release. Most, if not all, of these items were available in previous point releases.

Enhancements

  • Users have the ability to Resize the Rich Text and Read/Write fields for easier editing.
  • Automatically reconfigure asset details column layout dynamically according to window size
  • Specific Assets now have there default fields Pinned to the top of there Asset Detail summary
  • Improved page load performance for Portfolio board by using fixed width columns.
  • Asset detail improvements related to the column switch, shift left/right icons and the new description field size.
  • Card aging can now be turned on and off in Portfolio and .
  • Asset details layout preferences will persist and no longer be reset upon a page refresh or logout event. Changes made in one asset type will apply to all asset types.

Fixed

  • Server-side performance improvements when users use the default preference to exclude weekends from report calculations.
  • Team Capacity report will now correctly calculate team capacity when the planning level (project) timespan includes a daylight savings timezone change.
  • Added the 'Source' and 'Reference' fields back to the Portfolio Item Asset Detail Summary view.
  • Improved page load performance for Portfolio board by using fixed width columns.
  • Asset detail improvements related to the column switch, shift left/right icons and the new description field size.
  • Card aging can now be turned on and off in Portfolio and .
  • Asset details layout preferences will persist and no longer be reset upon a page refresh or logout event. Changes made in one asset type will apply to all asset types.
  • Improved overwriting behavior when multiple users are simultaneously editing an asset field.
  • Fixed issue with suggestion box while using project search.
  • For PDF generation, Host, Scheme, and Port can now be individually overridden. Default Host, Scheme and Port will be the same as the properties of the URL in the incoming request.
  • Reduce the amount of duplicate data stored for rich-text fields in instances running on SQL Server 2016 and later
  • Corrected the text within the 'Enable Active Alert' user preference
  • Titles of closed/deleted assets now contain a strikethrough for easier identification
  • Fixed issue with filter selections overflowing into other fields
  • Fixed issues with undo (using Ctrl+Z) behavior while editing asset details.
  • Fixed data loss issue with rich text fields in and in versions of earlier than 85.
  • Prevent CSRF attacks via GET requests.
  • Multi-line card titles will not be truncated anymore.

Agility Sync

  • Integration with Micro Focus ALM QC ---Supports Requirement and Defect type assets of .

  • project management capabilities--- now supports Story, Epic, Defect, and Enhancement under Product and Story under Project

  • -to- mapping---In addition to integrations with , , and /TFS, supports integration between two instances (- mapping).

  • Clone mapping---You can now clone an existing mapping to create new mappings.

  • Configure sync failure notifications---In addition to setting up the email subject prefix for emails generated in case of sync failures, you can now add up to ten comma-separated email IDs for sending failure notifications.

  • Mapping for child-level Agility projects---You can create a mapping for child-level projects too. The Select Projects drop-down list lets you select child-level projects.

  • You can now create a mapping to sync 's Tests to 's Test asset by having the Zephyr add-on installed in and enabling Relationships in your mapping.

  • Map fields of different types---Field mapping is not restricted to fields of the same type. You can map fields of different types too.

  • Mapping Agility Teams Storyboard statuses---In addition to workitem statuses, Team's Storyboard statuses are also available for mapping.

  • Drag and drop customization functions---While you use the Customization Code editor to build customizations from templates, you can now define customizations by simply dragging and dropping customization functions. You can work with the Customization Code Editor in two different modes---Basic and Advanced. While the default is the Basic mode that lets you drag and drop customization methods, you can switch to the Advanced mode by selecting Advanced from the Customization Type drop-down list.

  • Links to documentation---In-app context-sensitive help links to documentation have been added.

  • The Area and Iteration single-select fields in , which were synced as Text fields earlier, are now synced as single-select fields as expected.
