Zones define the way the element will be identified.
There are two types of zones:

  1. Grouping: Zones that are used to group elements in the object repository. The ‘default’ zone is such a zone. You can add more zones that will be used to group elements. When one of the grouping zones are selected, you can choose each one of the elements that have been extracted to this zone (in the Object Repository) by entering their name and then to operate on it.
  2. Dynamic: NATIVE or WEB or TEXT. Define dynamic recognitions types. In the dynamic zone options, the zone defines the recognition method that will be used (by type of the object) and the element will define the query to identify it.

In the following example, the zone was selected as WEB.

You will find the groping zones under object repository tab with all elements grouped under it.
