There are several license types that can be used to work with Appium Studio Enterprise.
Cloud License Server
When you connect to the Cloud Server to get a developer license, each developer license allows you to execute on one device at the same time.
To execute tests on 3 parallel devices you need to have 3 development licenses.
Floating License Server
This allows you to connect to the Floating Server license. For more information see Connect To Floating License Server.
Node-Locked License
This activates a node-locked license for a specific machine. This cannot be moved to another machine.
Evaluation License
This license is intended for prospective customers to understand better how the solution works.
License Activation
There are different wants to activate a license.
Online Activation
You can activate the license with a license key. This requires an internet connection.
Activation With a License File
You can activate a node-locked license with a license file (*.l4g file). This can be helpful when the machine does not have an internet connection.
To generate a license file:

Add the license key and click Activate With Key.

Open the l4j_license_request.txt file with editor tool and copy its context.

Go https://online.license4j.com/d/manualactivation and past the content.

Click Submit. This downloads the license file (license.l4j).

Click Apply activated license file, then click OK.
The Studio restarts in order to apply for the new license.
