Appium Studio Installation

Product Status

Appium Studio is currently in maintenance mode.

Digital.ai is no longer actively developing new features for the following tools:

• Appium Studio Enterprise Edition
• Appium Studio Community Edition
• SeeTestAutomation

Only critical bug fixes that block customer workflows will be addressed.

These tools rely on the same device connectivity infrastructure used by Digital.ai Continuous Testing. Therefore, supported device versions align with the device versions supported in the Digital.ai cloud.

For optimal performance when running multiple devices or emulators, Digital.ai recommends:

• 16 GB RAM
• SSD storage

Supported Devices

Appium Studio supports the same device versions that are supported by the Digital.ai Testing device cloud.

Required Software Dependencies

Windows

• .NET Framework 3.5 or later
• Device USB drivers (vendor-specific)

macOS

• Xcode
• Xcode Command Line Tools
• Apple device drivers

Install Appium Studio Community Edition (Windows or Mac):

1. Download the application.
2. Launch the installation wizard.

Install Appium Studio Enterprise Edition (Windows or Mac):

1. Download SeeTest Automation.
2. Launch the installation wizard.
3. When prompted, uncheck "Run SeeTestAutomation".

To launch Appium Studio Enterprise Edition in Windows:

1. Go to Program Files (x86) → Experitest → SeeTest.

2. Run AppiumStudioEnterprise.exe.

To launch Appium Studio Enterprise Edition in iOS:

1. Open Finder → Applications → SeeTest.
2. Run AppiumStudioEnterprise..
