Sync Strategy

Agility Connect now has a new option Sync Strategy under Relationships, sometimes when you sync a child work item and fail to sync the parent work item, and if the child work item reaches the Agility Connect system first, Agility syncs the child work item without a parent. To avoid such scenarios, you now have the following options:

• Sync without relationship- This option is selected by default.
• Sync with default relationship - The user must provide the parent work item ID in the Relationship ID section [ just above to this sync strategy], which must be synced as related parent workitem for the child.
• Sync fail - This results in a sync failure and an error message is generated in the log files.
