Limitations On Shared Devices
This page lists the known limitations with Shared Devices.
Android Limitations
- 
Google Account: Adding your own Google Account on a Shared Device is not supported. 
- 
Restricted/Disabled User Actions: The following actions are not allowed on Shared Devices: a. Changing wallpaper b. Modifying accounts on the device c. Performing a factory reset d. Accessing Developer Options 
- 
User Management: Adding or switching between users on an Android device is not supported. 
iOS Limitations
- 
Apple Functions: Adding your own Apple Account, Apple Pay or setting a Device Passcode on a Shared Device is not supported. 
- 
Restricted/Disabled User Actions: The following actions are not allowed on Shared Devices: a. Changing wallpaper b. Modifying accounts on the device c. Passcode, Bluetooth, TouchID / FaceID modifications d. Performing a factory reset e. Enabling Find My Device

Developer Provision Profiles: Developer Provision Profiles, which control iOS devices and installation of applications (.ipa files), are created by Digital.ai. Special entitlements are not supported 
- 
Enterprise iOS Applications: If an Enterprise iOS application is uploaded to the platform with allowResign=false, the Developer Profile is automatically trusted during installation on a shared device. This applies to both manual and automation testing scenarios.

Blocked pages: We close the following pages when they appear: a. Developer settings b. “Software updates” under “General” page c. “Shut down” under “General” page d. "Developer Mode" under "Privacy & Security" page e. "Lockdown Mode" under "Privacy & Security" page f. "Transfer or Reset iPhone" under "General" page 
Enterprise iOS Applications Note: The Auto-Trust process for shared device is not supported for iOS 18 and above.
