Deploy Integration with Backstage

Why Deploy Integration with Backstage?​

Through Deploy integration with Backstage, you can:

  • Seamlessly integrate your Backstage service with a Deploy application and instance, facilitating efficient deployment management.
  • Monitor recent deployment executions for specific applications and access detailed information such as status, active and archived deployments, and deploy time.
  • Customize the deployment execution view to focus on relevant deployments. This is particularly beneficial for applications with large deployments, ensuring simplified visibility and management within the Backstage.
  • The plugin also offers streamlined pipeline navigation through a search feature, enhancing accessibility across deployments.

Deploy Plugin for Backstage​

The Deploy plugin consist of two plugins:

  • Frontend Plugin: The frontend plugin connects to backend plugin and displays the active deployments, archive deployments, and view the task details . To configure the Deploy frontend plugin, see Deploy frontend plugin

  • Backend Plugin: The Backend plugin makes API request to Digital.ai Deploy and processes the data for the frontend plugin. To configure the Deploy backend plugin, see Deploy backend plugin
