Application Details
With this type of application... | Details include... |
---|---|
All apps | A Custom Metadata section that lists values for any custom metadata fields stored for the application. This section displays only if the Custom Metadata feature is enabled for your organization. For more information, see Application Custom Metadata. |
Native apps | A Version History that lists information about each version of the app. A new version is stored in Digital.ai App Management when an administrator edits the app and uploads a new application binary. In the case of an iOS or Android application created as a hybrid app, a new version is stored whenever the hybrid app is rebuilt. A Download link lets you download the binary for a particular version. Digital.ai App Management stores the binary for up to 10 versions of an application; if there are more than 10 versions, the Download link displays for the 10 most recent versions only. An App Catalog Deep Link that points to the details page for the app in the App Catalog. You can provide this link to an App Catalog user to give the user a direct pointer to the app. From there, the user can install the app. For more information, see Send an App Catalog Deep Link. |
Native apps created by adding a Hybrid App | If the native app was created by adding a hybrid app, a Web URL field lists the URL of the web app embedded in the app. For more information, see Hybrid Apps (Delivering a Web App as a Native App). |
Native apps enabled for Direct Install | A Direct Install URL that can be provided to users to install the app on their devices with no App Catalog and without having to authenticate with Digital.ai App Management. For more information, see Delivering Applications via a Direct Install URL |
Public apps | An App Catalog Deep Link that points to the app in the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Microsoft Store. |
Function Tabs
When you view details about an application, different function tabs are available at the top of the page depending on the type of application and policies applied to it.
Click this tab... | To... |
---|---|
Analytics | View analytics to monitor app downloads and usage. Analytics shows the number of assigned users (users in groups assigned to the app), total number of downloads, rate of downloads, and launch rate. For more information, see View Application Analytics. This tab appears for private, native apps only (iOS, Android, and Windows). It is not available for public native apps that you manage through Digital.ai App Management but users download from a public store. |
Rating | View app rating details and user reviews. For more information, see App Ratings and Reviews. This tab appears for all application types, except App Catalogs. |
Inspection | Request an app inspection or view an Inspection Report that was previously generated. For more information, see Inspect an Application. This tab appears for native iOS and Android apps only. |
Policies | Apply policies to the app or modify/remove policies that were previously applied. For more information, see Apply Policies to an App. This tab appears for native iOS and Android apps only. |
Signing | Digitally sign iOS and Android apps directly through the Admin Portal. The Signing page also provides an option for downloading a signing package for iOS and Android apps; it includes the app file and instructions for signing the app outside of Digital.ai App Management. For more information, see About Signing. This tab appears for native iOS and Android apps only. |
Crash Reports | Display a list of crash reports that were collected from the device. When an iOS or Android application crashes, a crash report is stored on the device. If the app has the Collect Crash Reports policy applied when it crashes, Digital.ai App Management collects the crash report and lists it on this tab. For more information, see View and Export Application Crash Reports. |
