Jailbreak Root Protection
This page describes the Jailbreak/Root Protection policy.
Policy Description
The Jailbreak/Root Protection policy blocks a user from running an app when the user's device has been compromised by jailbreaking (iOS) or rooting (Android).
Jailbreaking/rooting exposes a device to security breaches. Malicious software can take advantage of this exposure, leaving any app on the device vulnerable to viruses and rogue apps.
The User Experience
When a user attempts to launch the app, Digital.ai App Management checks if the device has been jailbroken/rooted. If it has been, an alert appears and the app closes. If the device has not been jailbroken/rooted, the app launches normally.
