Editing, duplicating, rearranging, and deleting Thresholds in the advanced thresholds editor

You can edit, duplicate, rearrange, and delete thresholds in the Advanced Thresholds Editor.

Pre-requisites:

  • Your dossier must contain a grid visualization. You can only use the Advanced Thresholds Editor for grid visualizations.
  • You previously created a threshold on the Advanced Thresholds Editor.

To edit, duplicate, rearrange, and delete thresholds in the Advanced Thresholds Editor

  1. In the Editor panel, right-click an attribute or metric that contains a threshold and choose Thresholds. If you select an attribute, the Advanced Thresholds Editor opens. If you select a metric, the Quick Thresholds Editor opens.
  2. If you opened the Quick Thresholds Editor, select the Advanced Thresholds Editor link to open the Advanced Thresholds Editor.
  3. To create a copy of a threshold, click the drop-down arrow to the right of the threshold and choose Duplicate. A copy of the threshold appears in the list.
  4. To move a threshold up in the list, click the drop-down arrow to the right of the threshold and choose Move Up.
  5. To move a threshold down in the list, click the drop-down arrow to the right of the threshold and choose Move Down.
  6. To determine where to apply the threshold formatting, click the drop-down arrow to the right of the threshold and choose Apply to.
    Choose Metric Only to apply formatting only to the metric values that meet the threshold conditions.

    Choose Subtotals only to apply formatting only to metric subtotal values that meet the threshold conditions.
    or
    Choose Metric and subtotals to apply formatting to both metric vales and subtotals that meet the threshold conditions.

    Choose Element Rows Only to apply formatting only to attribute element rows that meet the threshold conditions.
    or
    Choose Subtotal Rows Only to apply formatting only to attribute subtotal rows that meet the threshold conditions.
    or
    Choose Elements and Subtotals to apply formatting to both attribute elements and subtotals.
  7. Click the to the right of a threshold to delete it.
  8. Click OK.
