ALM Connect - MySQL Prerequisites and Setup

This article lists the MySQL Prerequisites and Setup with Agility Sync.

Overview​

This article ensures that the required steps are performed prior to and during ALM Connect installation are correct for MySQL.

Prerequisites​

  1. Click here to download the MySQL connector zip file.

  2. Extract the files to a preferred location.

  3. Open the directory and copy mysql-connector-java-5.1.40-bin.jar to the root directory (e.g., c:\MySQL_Connector).

  4. Take note of the path as it will be required during setup.

ALM Connect MySQL Setup​

  1. On the MySQL setup step during installation provide the following:
    • Database Host Name (ex. localhost)
    • Database Port Number
    • Database User Name
    • Database User Password
  2. Browse to the location of the mysql-connector-java-5.1.40-bin.jar file.
  3. Click NEXT to continue the installation process.
