Agility Version 25.2 Point Release 5
Overview
Enhancements and bug fixes in Digital.ai Agility.
Enhancements
- Add Images to Conversations
- Protect members from Planning Level removal
- Show absolute timestamps in Conversations
Add Images to Conversations
Attach image files (PNG, JPG, GIF) to a conversation comment.
What Changed
- Attach image files (PNG, JPG, GIF) to any conversation comment
- Add multiple images in one comment
- Enforce a 4 MB total size limit for all images in a single comment; if the combined size exceeds 4 MB the upload is blocked
Why It Helps
Images speed collaboration. Instead of describing UI states, errors, or design ideas in text, you show them. This reduces misunderstandings and follow-up questions.
How to Use
- Open a conversation.
- Click Add Image in the comment editor.
- Select one or more image files and click Open.
- Enter your comment.
- Click Share. Thumbnails appear under the comment.
- Click a thumbnail to view the full image.
- Add multiple images in one comment
- Large images are automatically scaled in thumbnail view
- Images remain part of the conversation history
- The combined size of all images in a single comment must not exceed 4 MB
Protect Members from Planning Level Removal
Prevent accidental removal of critical members from any project or planning level.
What Changed
- New Protected checkbox on the member details page.
- Only System Admin and Member Admin roles can set or clear this flag for any user.
- Users cannot change their own protected status.
- Any action that would remove a protected member from a project (remove, role change to no access, clearing a role with no parent inheritance) is blocked.
- An error message displays: "Agility security restriction: A protected member cannot be removed from a project."
Why It Helps
Prevents accidental removal of core administrative or support users, preserving visibility and avoiding gaps in oversight or reporting caused by silent membership loss.
How to Use
- Go to Members and open the member profile.
- Select the Protected checkbox (the change saves immediately).
- (Optional) Attempt to remove the member from a project to confirm the restriction; the security error displays.
- Only System Admin and Member Admin can modify the Protected flag
- A user cannot set or clear their own Protected flag
- Removal, setting role to no access, or clearing a role (when no parent project grants inherited access) is blocked for protected members
- Clearing a role to inherit from a parent project is allowed only when the parent provides access; otherwise the action is blocked
- The security error message is logged consistently anywhere a protected removal is attempted
- Selecting or clearing Protected auto-saves; no separate save action is required
Show Absolute Timestamps in Conversations
Display a relative time (for example, "3 hours ago") and the exact date and time on every conversation entry.
What Changed
- Each conversation comment shows a relative time plus the exact date and time.
- Example format: 3 hours ago – 17 September 2025, 11:56 AM
- The absolute timestamp also appears in Rooms and consolidated conversation views.
Why It Helps
Lets you scan when decisions were made without hovering or opening tooltips, improving traceability in time-critical discussions.
How to Use
Open any conversation (or Room) and read the header line of each entry.
- Relative wording (for example, "less than a minute ago") still appears first
- The date and time use your system time zone
- Historical entries show absolute timestamps when underlying data exists
- Formatting is consistent across stories, defects, portfolio items, and rooms
Fixes
