Enhancements and bug fixes in Digital.ai Agility.

Enhancements

  • Enhanced the Project and Planning Level selection experience with an intuitive tree control.
  • Added new design for the Workspace Details section.
  • The Project tree control now enables users to Create and Delete Project Workspaces directly.
  • Enhanced List Value Selection, selecting list type values now opens a searchable pop-up window, improving discoverability and selection efficiency.
  • The new Search functionality in Project Workspace, allows for quick and efficient discovery and modification of attributes and list values.
  • New History tab displays the activities associated with a Workspace.
  • Added the ability to display only the Asset Type header cell when the Asset is collapsed.

Project and Planning Level View with Tree Control

The new Project and Planning Level View with Tree Control allows users to quickly navigate, select, and manage their project hierarchy, streamlining planning and reporting workflows.

To access the Planning Level Workspace (New), click the hamburger menu > Admin > Asset Customization > Planning Level Workspace Assets (New)

New Design for Workspace Details section

  • Asset Types are now organized in an expandable or collapsible accordion layout, making navigation and management more efficient.
  • Administrators can now check or uncheck the Soft Requirements setting for Asset values required at the time of closure, allowing greater flexibility in validation rules.
  • Administrators have the ability to select or deselect display properties for each Asset value, providing better control over which attributes are shown in the user interface.
  • Changes made to Configuration Options can be Saved or Reset, enabling safe experimentation and quick rollback of configuration changes.

Create and Delete Project Workspaces

Users can now create and delete Project Workspaces directly from the intuitive project tree interface.

Creating a Project or Planning Level Workspace

  1. Click the hamburger menu > Admin > Asset Customization > Planning Level Workspace Assets (New).
  2. In the left-hand planning level tree, locate any Project or Planning Level under which you want to create the new Planning level Workspace.
  3. Click the vertical ellipsis menu (⋮) next to the parent space.
  4. Select Create Planning Level Workspace
  5. Expand each section and check Display box for the items you want to display.
  6. Click Save.

Deleting a Project or Planning Level Workspace

If you no longer need the project to have custom settings anymore, you can delete its planning level workspace. When you delete a planning level workspace the planning level will automatically inherit the workspace settings from its nearest parent project.

  1. Click the hamburger menu > Admin > Asset Customization > Planning Level Workspace Assets (New).
  2. In the left-hand planning level tree, locate the Planning Level Workspace you wish to delete.
  3. Click the vertical ellipsis menu (⋮) next to the parent space.
  4. From the dropdown menu, select Delete Planning Level Workspace. A confirmation dialog appears, indicating that this action is permanent and cannot be undone.
  5. Click Delete to confirm and permanently remove the Planning Level Workspace.

Enhanced List Value Selection

List type values are now displayed in a new pop-up modal window. This modal includes integrated search capabilities, allowing users to quickly find and select the desired values from extensive lists.

New Search Option in Project Workspace

The new search functionality allows for quick and efficient discovery and modification of attributes and list values.

  1. In the Planning Level Workspace page, navigate to the Search bar
  2. Enter the name of the attribute you wish to find (Example: Class of Service).
  3. The search results automatically display all instances where the selected attribute appears across various asset types
  4. You can then navigate directly to the displayed attribute to view or modify its value.

In the history tab you can view the list of changes that have been made, including the person who made the change, when the change was made.

Asset Type Header

To provide a clearer overview and reduce visual clutter, the system now displays only the Asset Type header cell when an asset type section is collapsed. All other header cells are automatically hidden, focusing attention on the primary identifier.

Fixes

  • The Save and Reset buttons now remain fixed and visible at the bottom of the page, ensuring consistent access.
