GitOps-enabled folder versioning in Digital.ai Release lets you store and manage all folder content—such as templates, workflows, triggers, connections, and variables—as YAML in a version control system like GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or Azure Repos. This enables a GitOps-style workflow to author, review, and promote changes across Release environments.

Template version control has been replaced by GitOps-enabled folder versioning. We recommend using GitOps-enabled folder versioning to manage templates, variables, connections, and other entities.
