Configuration & Management
Once you have set up a delivery pattern, you need to configure its stages, transitions, and tracked items to match your organization's release standards. This section covers the day-to-day tasks involved in managing deliveries, from assigning stage owners and registering tracked items to defining delivery patterns as code.
Transitions control how tracked items move between stages. You can set up automated transitions with AND/OR conditions, or allow manual overrides when needed. Stage owners are responsible for reviewing and approving work within their stage before it can move forward.
Key Topics
- Manage Transitions - Create automated or manual stage transitions with condition-based logic.
- Add a Stage Owner - Assign ownership to delivery stages for review and approval.
- Using Deliveries - Create, monitor, and manage active deliveries.
- Managing Delivery Patterns - Create and edit reusable delivery pattern templates.
- Register a Tracked Item - Add tracked items to a delivery to monitor their progress across stages.
- Using DevOps as Code With Software Delivery - Define and manage delivery patterns using YAML-based configuration.
