Create an Infrastructure

This topic describes how to create an infrastructure in Deploy, which is a set of credentials needed to connect to a cloud technology.

You can group infrastructure logically in environments, and then provision packages to them.

To create a provider:

  1. In the top bar, click Explorer.
  2. In the sidebar hover over Infrastructure, click Menu image, and click New. Example: If you are using Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), select aws > Cloud.
  3. In the Name field, enter a unique name of the configuration item.
  4. Enter the information required for creating the aws.Cloud. Example: If you are using Amazon EC2, you must enter your access key ID and secret access key.

After you create a provider, you can add it to an environment. For more information, see Create an environment in Deploy.
