View OKR History

The History tab in Digital.ai OKRs provides complete visibility into all changes, updates, and activities for objectives and their associated key results. Use the history to track accountability, understand decision evolution, and monitor progress over time.

What You Can Track​

The History tab displays a chronological timeline of all activities including:

  • Objective creation and updates: See when objectives were created and what changes were made
  • Key result creation and modifications: Track when key results are added and updated
  • Progress changes: Monitor progress updates (for example, "Objective progress updated from Not Started to In Progress")
  • Linked objectives: View when objectives are linked or unlinked
  • User actions: Identify which team members made specific changes with timestamps

View Objective History​

  1. Click the hamburger menu Hamburger icon > OKRs
  2. Select My OKRs or All OKRs
  3. Click an objective to open its details
  4. Click the History tab

The History tab displays all changes in chronological order with:

  • User name and avatar of the person who made the change
  • Timestamp showing when the change occurred
  • Description of what was changed
  • Details of the modification (for example, new progress values, field updates)

Understanding History Entries​

Each history entry shows:

  • User attribution: The name and profile picture of the team member who performed the action
  • Timestamp: When the action occurred (for example, "1 hr ago")
  • Action type: What happened (for example, "KeyResult created", "Objective Progress Changed", "Linked objectives Changed")
  • Change details: Specific information about the change, such as:
    • Field values before and after updates
    • New progress percentages
    • Added or removed linked objectives
    • Created key results with their IDs

Common History Entry Types​

KeyResult Created​

Shows when a new key result is added to the objective, including the key result ID.

Objective Progress Changed​

Displays progress status updates with the old and new values (for example, "Objective progress updated from Not Started to In Progress").

Linked Objectives Changed​

Lists objectives that were linked or unlinked, showing the objective IDs.

Objective Created​

Records when the objective was initially created, including who created it.
