How to Export or Save a Chart to Microsoft Excel, CSV, or PNG?

This article explains how to Export or Save a Chart to Microsoft Excel, CSV, or PNG in Agility.

Overview

Standard graph data can be exported to Microsoft Excel (.xls), Comma Separated Value (.csv), or Portable Network Graphics (.png) format. This gives you to ability to format, print, further analyze, or use the data in external reports or presentations.

Because most report data is dynamic and changes frequently, saved reports can quickly become outdated. As an alternative, you can create a member account for anyone (stakeholders, customers, or executives) who wants to see the report, and then provide them with a list of links to key reports so they can obtain real-time information rather than viewing static reports.

Steps

  1. Configure and generate the report you want to use.
  2. Click on the menu just above the chart, and then select Save as PNG, Download CSV, or Download XLS. The exported file will contain all displayed columns, even if the data spans several pages.
  3. If the data you want to export does not display in the current grid, you can customize it to show the columns you'd like to export.
