Associate Key Results to a Backlog Item

Agility allows you to associate backlog items (stories and defects) with specific Key Results. These key results are defined as part of an Objective. You can assign a single key result to a backlog item or assign multiple key results to a single backlog item.

Prerequisites​

  • You must have Agility Pro and Premium license to use the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) feature in Agility.
  • Use feature toggle option to enable OKR in Agility.

Associate Key Results to a Backlog Item​

  1. From the menu, click the hamburger icon Hamburger icon > Product > Backlog.
  2. Click a story or defect to assign a Key Result.
  3. In the backlog item details, click the OKRs tab.
  4. In the Associated Key Results page, click + Assign.
  5. Enter the search text. You can search by title or description of the Key Result.
  6. From the listed Key results, select an ID and click Assign.

After associating the key results, the associated key results are displayed with the following attributes in Agility:

  • Key results ID
  • Key results title
  • Objective title
  • Session
  • Owner

Remove Key Results from a Backlog Item​

  1. From the menu, click the hamburger icon Hamburger icon > Product > Backlog.
  2. Click a story or defect.
  3. In the backlog item details, click the OKRs tab.
  4. In the Associated Key Results select the OKR.
  5. Click the Remove button next to the selected OKR.
  6. In the confirmation dialog, click Remove to confirm or Cancel to keep the association.
