Agility Version 26.1 Point Release 4

Overview

Enhancements and bug fixes in Digital.ai Agility.

Enhancements

  • Group Storyboard by Team in TeamRoom and main application
  • Bulk update Release field for Portfolio Items and Backlog Items
  • Improved performance for Iteration/Timebox history display

Group Storyboard by Team

The Storyboard can now be grouped by Team in both TeamRoom and the main application Storyboard. This enhancement helps users who create Rooms with Team filters set to "All Teams" to organize and view work items grouped by their assigned teams. Users can expand or collapse team groupings to focus on specific teams, making it easier to manage work across multiple teams.

This capability is particularly useful for Release Train Engineers, Chief Scrum Masters, Product Managers, and Agile Coaches who need visibility into work across multiple teams within a single view.

See Group Storyboard by Team for step-by-step instructions.

Bulk Update Release Field

You can now bulk update the Release field for multiple Portfolio Items and Backlog Items simultaneously using the Update Multiple Fields feature. This enhancement streamlines release planning by allowing you to assign multiple work items to a release in a single operation, eliminating the need to update each item individually.

For Portfolio Items, the Planned Release field can be updated in bulk from the Portfolio Items grid. For Backlog Items, the Release field can be updated from the Backlog page. This is particularly useful when reorganizing work across releases, planning PI or sprint increments, or reassigning items during release planning sessions.

Who uses this: Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, Product Owners, and Project Managers who manage release planning and need to efficiently organize work items across releases.

See Update Multiple Fields for step-by-step instructions.

Improved Iteration/Timebox History Performance

Significantly improved performance when viewing iteration and timebox history. Users can now view history details and navigate through history pages without encountering timeouts or "Unable to display" errors.

Previously, accessing timebox history could take over 60 seconds and often resulted in timeout errors, particularly when paging through history lists or viewing details of specific changes. Database query optimization now delivers these results in less than one second.

What changed:

  • History list pages load without timeout errors
  • History detail views display immediately
  • Users can navigate through multiple pages of history smoothly
  • Large iteration histories with extensive change records are now accessible

This enhancement particularly benefits teams and portfolio managers who review historical changes to understand sprint planning decisions, capacity adjustments, and iteration scope changes over time.
