Agility Version 26.0 Point Release 14
Overview
Enhancements and bug fixes in Digital.ai Agility.
Enhancements
- View and edit milestone details from the Roadmap timeline view, regardless of the Show Titles setting
- Subscribe to notifications for dependency additions and removals on Epics, Stories, Defects, and Test Sets
- Associate a TeamRoom with a value stream and filter its backlog by release
View and Edit Milestones on the Roadmap Timeline View
Hover over a milestone on the Roadmap timeline view to display a tooltip with the milestone date and title, and click the title in the tooltip to open the milestone and edit its details. Previously, milestone information appeared only when Show Titles was enabled in Roadmap Configuration. With the setting turned off, milestone markers gave no indication of which milestone they represented.
What changed:
- The tooltip displays the milestone date and title when you hover over a milestone on the timeline.
- The tooltip appears whether or not Show Titles is enabled in Roadmap Configuration.
- The milestone title in the tooltip opens the milestone, where you can review and update details such as the description, project, milestone date, type, and tags.
Identify milestones and correct their details without turning on titles for the whole roadmap or leaving the timeline view.
For more information, see Milestones and Customize Roadmap Views.
Subscribe to Dependency Notifications
Notification subscriptions include events for dependency changes, so you can find out when a dependency is added to or removed from the work you track. Dependency management is critical in complex programs, and an automated notification supports timely follow-up and coordination when planning shifts across teams.
What changed:
- Notification subscriptions include events for upstream dependencies added and removed.
- Notification subscriptions include events for downstream dependencies added and removed.
- These events are available for Epics, Stories, Defects, and Test Sets.
- To subscribe, click the hamburger menu > Rooms > My Room > Subscriptions, expand the section for the asset, and click Subscribe for the dependency event you want to receive.
Delivery managers can watch upstream dependency relationships for their work and hear about unexpected timing changes, and team members gain visibility into dependency changes inside and outside their own team.
For more information, see Manage Notification Subscriptions.
Filter the TeamRoom Backlog by Release
TeamRoom configuration now includes an option to associate the room with a value stream, so you can filter the backlog panel by release instead of relying on planning level alone. This makes it easier to manage a team's backlog when work is organized around release planning.
What changed:
- Enable the Release Planning feature to display Value Stream configuration for TeamRooms. For the steps, see How to Enable or Disable Release Planning.
- Value Stream dropdown added to TeamRoom configuration, in Room Settings > Properties
- Selecting a Value Stream displays a Release filter in the TeamRoom header
- Selecting a release in the filter narrows the Backlog panel to items in that release
- The same Release filter is available on the Rooms 2 Sprint Planning Board and filters its backlog panel the same way
Focus a team's backlog on the current release without switching planning levels or leaving the TeamRoom.
For more information, see Filter a TeamRoom by Release, Filter by Release in Sprint Planning, and Release Planning.
Fixes
Value Stream Board Slowness at Higher Planning Levels
Resolved an issue where the Value Stream Board took a long time to load and caused high CPU utilization when a higher planning level was selected. Repeated requests for the dependency board schedule consumed server resources and could leave the web server unresponsive. The board now loads without this performance impact at higher planning levels.
