Enhancements

• The administrators can now approve comments posted by IdeaSpace users for any idea. This can be Enabled or Disabled through the Require Approval on All Ideas and Comments administrator setting.
• Added the ability to set the status of an idea to Not Planned state in Agility and the same status is shown under the Not Planned tab in the IdeaSpace.

IdeaSpace must be updated before upgrading Agility, as Agility changes are dependent on IdeaSpace API changes.

API Rate Limiting

In today's data driven world more enterprises are taking advantage of Agility's API. As users begin to experiment with the API. There are times when a user who is learning can impact Agility performance. These issues mostly stem from unbounded queries, or trying to pull too much data at a time. To ensure Agility users receive the best experience, Digital.ai will introduce rate limiting. The Cloud Ops team will collaborate with Engineering to review the current API usage patterns to establish a baseline on API usage to set proper boundaries. Rate limiting will begin with errors, limiting API usage to 20 errors per minute. There are future phases of Rate Limiting that will be documented as well.

A new API endpoint has been introduced to provide Agility administrators with valuable information such as which members are using the API, how many calls they are making and more.

The initial roll out will include a limit of 20 errors per minute and apply to instances running 22.3, 23.0, 23.1, & beyond.

Roll out Schedule

• July 22nd: Instances with www7 and www8 URLs
• August 5th: Instances with www13 and www14 URLs
• August 19th: Instances with www11, www12, and www51...www56 URLs
• August 26th: All remaining instances

Fixes

• The upload button in Import Backlog page displays the right color in dark theme.
• All menu entries now act like traditional hyperlinks.
